' NEW GIRL SCOUT IRON-ON MAKES LIFE EASIER',
'New York, NY January 27, 2003

To Girl Scouts, local Girl Scout council and troop insignia are a sign of pride for belonging to Girl Scouting. To Daisy Girl Scouts, ages 5 to 6, each Daisy petal they earn is a symbol of accomplishment. But for their parents, these emblems can be a real hassle. Sewing them on is a time-consuming chore, and while taking them to the local tailor to be sewn on is costly. Girl Scouts have experimented to create easy options for the application of insignia and awards, some quite humorous, including staples, double stick tape, and over-the-counter adhesives of all kinds to avoid sewing these on. Existing fabric glues on the market are ineffective, often resulting in lost patches.',
